There are many types of Exterior House Rendering on the market. We use Silicone render for its properties and benefits. Silicone render is a thin coat render. It means that it is applied over a base coat of a few millimetres thick.
This type of silicone render has many advantages:
- It has high quality
- Excellent water vapour permeability, allowing the substrate to breathe.
- Anti-mould. It is hydrophobic (which means it repels dirt and organic growth).
- Maximum washability.
- It is self-cleaning when it rains.
- You can choose any colour you want.
- Silicone render lasts longer and you won’t notice if it gets scratched, as the colour is spread over the entire top layer.
- Waterproof and water repellent.
- Quick and easy application.
- Compatible with most substrates.
- Resistant to ageing, urban atmospheres and ultraviolet rays.
- Excellent adhesion on typical building substrates.
Exterior House Rendering
There is also the Monocouche Render which is designed for new houses because it has only one coat. We can apply it by hand trowel or sprayed on. Monocouche renders use white cement and are pre-coloured (in any colour you want). Additionally, it is a scratch render system, which means the finish is a lot more durable than other renders. It is quick to apply.
